srdačno  Vas pozivamo na koncert pijanista Marijana Đuzela, koji će se u povodu 10. godišnjice hrvatskog članstva u Europskoj uniji održati u petak, 10. studenog 2023. u 19:00 sati, u  velikoj dvorani palače Ehrbar (Mühlgasse 30, 1040 Wien).

 

Jedan od najboljih hrvatskih pijanista mlađe generacije uz djela Mozarta, Beethovena, Chopina i Bartoka izvest će i djela hrvatskih autora, među kojima su skladbe Dore Pejačević i Blagoja Berse, čime se bečki ogranak Matice hrvatske u suradnji s Veleposlanstvom Republike Hrvatske u Austriji priključuje obilježavanju velikih obljetnica – 100. obljetnice smrti Dore Pejačević i 150. godišnjice rođenja Blagoja Berse.

Wir laden Sie herzlich zum Konzert des Pianisten Marijan Đuzel ein, das anlässlich des 10-jährigen Jubiläums am Freitag, 10. November 2023 um 19:00 Uhr im Großen Saal des Palais Ehrbar (Mühlgasse 30, 1040 Wien) stattfindet der Mitgliedschaft Kroatiens in der Europäischen Union.

 

Einer der besten kroatischen Pianisten der jüngeren Generation wird neben Werken von Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin und Bartok auch Werke kroatischer Autoren, darunter Kompositionen von Dora Pejačević und Blagoj Bersa, aufführen, so die Wiener Niederlassung von Matica Hrvatska Die Zusammenarbeit mit der Botschaft der Republik Kroatien in Österreich schließt sich dem Gedenken an ein großes Jubiläum an – den 100. Todestag von Dora Pejačević und den 150. Geburtstag von Blagoj Bersa.

 

 

Marijan Đuzel is one of the leading Croatian pianists of the younger generation. He is currently employed at the Music Academy of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula as an assistant professor. He studied piano with Alenka Milano and Kosovka Cudina and graduated in 2015 from the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of Djordje Stanetti. He perfected his piano skills at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels in the class of Aleksandar Madzar, where he graduated with the highest honors.
Croatia Records released Marijan’s first solo album Virtuoso collection: Marijan Đuzel (live), recorded live at a concert at the Croatian Music Institute in 2018, with a selection of pieces by L. van Beethoven (“Hammerklavier Sonata”, op. 106), R. Schumann, B. Bartok and Davorin Kempf.
Marijan pays particular attention to the works of Ludwig van Beethoven, whose piano sonatas he includes in almost every concert. At the 14th Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna in 2013, among 259 candidates, he made it to the semifinals among the thirteen best competitors. He also had notable performances at the Beethoven in Bonn in 2017, Viotti in Vercelli in 2017, Alessandro Casagrande in Terni in 2014, etc. For his achievements during his studies, Marijan received the Dean’s Award and Rector’s Award of the University of Zagreb.
As a young pianist, he won many first prizes at national and international competitions: Zlatko Grgosevic in Zagreb, Young Virtuosi in Zagreb, Grand Prix of Lions Club Rijeka, EPTA in Osijek, Ferdo Livadic in Samobor, and others. In 2016, he was the winner of the competition for the best young Croatian musician – 49th Tribune of Young Musicians Darko Lukic in Zagreb.
He performed as a soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic, Zagreb Soloists, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, HRT Symphony Orchestra, Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de Belgische Gidsen, Zadar Chamber Orchestra, Varazdin Chamber Orchestra, HNK Opera Orchestra from Split. He collaborated with conductors such as Pierre-Andre Valade, Nil Venditti, Robert Lehrbaumer, Yves Segers, Koenraad Hofman, etc. He also performed in chamber ensembles with violinist Evgenija Ephstein, trombonist Mate Đuzel and other distinguished musicians.
He regularly holds solo recitals in Croatia and abroad (Austria, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, USA, Thailand). He also performed at renowned Croatian festivals and concert cycles, such as the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, the Split Summer Festival, Musical Evenings in St. Donat, Hvar Summer Festival, Music Artists to Zagreb, St. Marco Festival, Concerts in Euphrasiana, Piano Loop Festival, etc.
In 2014, he was a scholarship holder of Dr. Ing. Dino Škrapić, MBA Foundation. His talent and potential were recognized in 2010 by the oil company INA, from which he received a scholarship for excellent results in the artistic field.
He is the artistic director and professor at the Ardea International Summer School in Čapljina (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the artistic director of the IM Infinite Music Art Association. After several years of studying and living abroad (Brussels), Marijan is eager to improve the level of the classical music scene in Istria by sharing his knowledge with piano students at Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, and by starting a classical music festival that would include renowned international artists, as well as leading Croatian musicians.
